In order to reduce the queues for identity documents - passports and eID cards, as well as to further improve the customer service of the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs (hereinafter - OCMA), from 10 August to the end of summer OCMA extends working hours of territorial divisions.
In order for as many clients as possible to be able to draw up identity documents in time, the working hours of the territorial divisions of the OCMA are extended from 10 August in the 12 largest territorial divisions.
The extension of the working hours of the territorial divisions carried out by OCMA in July now allows to serve 1000 clients more per week than before. It is expected that the extension of working hours in the 12 largest divisions will allow to increase the capacity of OCMA clients service to approximately 1,600 additional clients per week.
Also, in Alūksne, Balvi, Gulbene, Ludza, Preiļi and Valka divisions of OCMA, in addition to the usual pre-appointment procedure, clients will be provided with the opportunity to receive services in person without pre-appointment, but waiting in line outside the division premises and 2 m away from other clients. We would like to inform you that clients will be served when free registration times become available, and only after clients who have previously made an appointment to receive services in the specific division.
Please be informed that such additional procedures will be provided only in the above-mentioned departments and only until the end of the summer.
