In order to reduce the queues for identity documents, from 16 May the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs will resume to form and issue identity documents - citizens 'and non-citizens' passports and identity cards or eID cards - according to the queue, i.e. without prior registration in 29 divisions.

From May 16, 28 territorial divisions of the Office throughout Latvia will start to serve customers according to the queue.

From May 17, in addition to the previous registration, the Riga division 2 of the Office will also start serving customers according to the queue.
